To the person who found it gritty, in addition to adding boiling water, you want to stir it very very well, and then let it sit and let the water do its magic. I let all soups of this type sit at least twice as long as the directions say, and often ten or even fifteen minutes. They don't get cold when you add boiling water, and they end up tasting perfect. When preparing it like this, I've never found it gritty at all.To cup soups I often add a bit of Splenda, salt and Tabasco to zip up their flavor. This cup is only 2 Weight Watchers points and is the perfect snack, light lunch, or great as part of a larger lunch such as having a sandwhich or salad with it. Very convenient to have at your desk at work. |
